Theater/Vocal Instruction
I have spent a long time trying to take advantage of any opportunities I can to experience new kinds of music. Here are a few highlights from my involvement in musical theater and vocal direction.

Be More Chill The Musical - 2023

I had the amazing opportunity to be the instrumental and vocal director for the Three River Community Players production of Be More Chill the Musical. I had so much fun finding fellow musicians to be in the ensemble and I loved being able to meet so many wonderful vocalists. This experience boosted my score study abilities and time management skills with only having a few weeks to prepare before auditions.
In order to help the cast outside of rehearsals or private lessons, I created part recordings for every song that had a harmony. These videos were used to help those who weren't familiar with reading sheet music and learned by ear. There are over 85!
This is a small clip of the ensemble and I running through a piece for the first time. Note: our space was very limited

Legally Blonde The Musical - 2024
The Three Rivers Community Players had a production of Legally Blonde the musical and I had the honor of being the vocal director and sound booth manager! I had so many great experiences during this show and was able to teach private lessons to each member of the cast. I learned a lot about sound systems and stage tech in the process.
Mendon Drama Club - 2023-2025
I was very luck to be able to vocal direct Mendon Drama Club's production of The Adams Family and Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief. Because both productions happened in the summer, I had a lot of time to be able to get to know the students and teach them a bit about vocal technique and music theory. I am very excited to work with them again this summer on their next production!
